Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking an experienced supply chain manager to source aftermarket heavy equipment spare parts and optimize inventory management. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in procurement, strong knowledge of logistics and ERP systems, and excellent leadership skills. This role requires fluency in English, with Arabic being a plus, and is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in aftermarket heavy equipment spare parts.
  • Strong knowledge of imports, customs, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in inventory planning and safety stock management.

Responsibilities

  • Source non-genuine parts from various regions.
  • Perform quarterly inventory analyses and maintain stock levels.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source non-genuine/OE-equivalent parts (CAT, Komatsu) from China, Turkey, EU; validate cross-references and quality.
  • Perform quarterly ABC–XYZ analysis and maintain min–max, safety stock, and reorder points.
  • Align demand planning with sales/projects; optimize stocking of fast-moving and critical parts.
  • Manage ERP item master: alternates, HS codes, lead times, naming standards.
  • Oversee imports (air/sea/road), reduce landed cost, and avoid demurrage.
  • Lead warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams; improve fill rate and OTIF.
  • Implement and report on monthly KPI dashboards for supply chain performance.
Skills
Must-Have Qualifications (Hard Filters):
  • 7–10+ years in aftermarket heavy equipment spare parts (non-genuine for CAT, Komatsu).
  • Sourcing experience fromChina, Turkey, EU with cross-reference validation.
  • Expertise in inventory planning, ABC–XYZ, safety stock, and obsolescence reduction.
  • Strong knowledge of imports, customs, HS codes, Incoterms, freight, and clearance.
  • ERP proficiency (item master, procurement, inventory modules).
  • Team leadership (buyers, logistics, warehouse).
  • Fluent English (Arabic is a plus).
