Overview

Our Emirates Engineering Facilities department is dedicated to creating and maintaining premier environments for all engineering needs. From state-of-the-art hangars and workshops to efficient material stores, offices, and training spaces, we ensure every facility supports and enhances engineering excellence. We manage electrical power, air conditioning, fire safety, cleaning, specialized equipment, landscaping, and compressed air systems, while supporting facility expansion and maintenance.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will assist the Senior Storekeeper in all transactional and warehouse activities at the Distribution Centre's / Uniform issue counters. Record transactional data accurately in inventory systems.

  • Undertake the physical checking and receiving of goods into stock ensuring that goods are in accordance with purchase order in terms of quantity and quality.
  • Ensure all stocks items are received in accordance to the purchase orders terms and conditions advising buys in the event of discrepancies to enable supplier feedback.
  • Assist senior storekeeper by preparing requisitions for the purchase stock items to meet department demands in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the packaging and distribution of all items (uniforms/promotional and non-stock items) to outstations and promotional events as necessary, including dispatch activities.
  • Responsible for inspecting, verifying items as per approved sample. Ensure that the incoming materials are in good condition as per the specifications of the Company Standards.
  • Provides clerical assistance by filing of receipt and issue vouchers.
  • Input data into the inventory management system for stock transactions
Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Experience in a General Distribution environment
  • Should be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Recommended International Qualifications: MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, CSMP, CPSM, IPSCMI qualifications (CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO)
  • Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, MBA equivalent to CIPS or MCIPS depends on grade
