Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Dubai

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Fashion Design associate with operations background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fashion design and possess excellent technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail. As a Fashion Design Assistant, you will work closely with our creative director to assist in all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final product creation.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the creative director to understand and execute innovative sample designs.
  • Execute fabric sourcing as directed and per requirements for sampling and production.
  • Ability to create technical sketches of design concepts is a plus.
  • Assist in fitting sessions, taking detailed notes and making necessary adjustments to garment prototypes.
  • Maintain organized records of design sketches, fabric samples, and other design‑related materials.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate fabric and trim orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Support sales manager as needed by attending customers at our studio or at trunk shows/trade shows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the design team and company.
  • Keep record of daily output of our in‑house sampling and production.
  • Check pieces made daily and coordinate with the main pattern maker for all sampling and production.
  • Maintain a fabric and inventory log.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in garment sampling and production is a must.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software is a plus but not necessary.
  • Strong sketching and illustration skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visual concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and sewing techniques.
  • Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and trimmings, and an understanding of sourcing and production processes.
  • Creative thinking and a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Passion for fashion and a desire to contribute to the success of our design studio/company.
