The Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing structural engineering activities for onshore oil and gas projects during the Engineering Phase, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design. The role requires a professional with strong experience in structural engineering, adherence to ADNOC standards, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and review structural designs, layouts, and calculations in compliance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
- Prepare and review structural engineering deliverables for FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design phases.
- Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) to ensure design integration.
- Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical discussions.
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to structural design and interfaces.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, drawings, and reports, ensuring timely submission of deliverables.
- Support the preparation of as-built drawings and design revisions during the project lifecycle.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong experience in the Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
- ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of international and ADNOC structural codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be immediately available to join.
