Job summary

A leading Ecommerce company is seeking an experienced Advertising Sales Manager to drive advertising revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Advertising Sales and proven leadership skills. Responsibilities include engaging with key accounts, leveraging data analytics, and collaborating with Product teams. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are necessary to align teams towards commercial objectives. This is a full-time role based in Dubai.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of total work experience with a minimum of 5 years of Advertising Sales experience in an Ecommerce company.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading direct teams.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results within an Advertising business.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Acting as a single threaded owner the role will be responsible for the delivery of annual quarterly and monthly advertising revenue goals for Talabats Food business.
  • Strong acumen and understanding of Ecommerce advertising setup incl. products measurement metrics etc. (across CPC Display Video DSP etc..)
  • Identify strategic initiatives that would help Account Managers deliver strong and compelling upsell crosssell acquisition and retention pitches to support growth for restaurant Partners.
  • Drive priorities focused on core inputs such as increasing penetration sales enablement goal setting scaling long term commitments etc.
  • Partner with the local and central Product teams to shape mid to long term strategy on roadmaps for different products within our advertising suite.
  • Become an expert on Talabat advertising solutions and craft recommendations based on advertiser needs (e.g. key accounts with complex goals and ambition).
  • Demonstrate strong proactive ownership to see solutions through and close them fast by working deeply and closely with stakeholders.
  • You are able to solve ambiguous problems and identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
  • Demonstrate strong deepdive skills to identify actionable insights from data.
Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business marketing economics or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results within an Advertising business.
  • Experience in collaborating with Product teams to shape feature development delivery and roadmaps.
  • Experience with Clevel sales and strategic partnership building.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to influence and align crossfunctional teams and senior leadership around commercial objectives.
