We are seeking a Procurement Manager to create worldwide strategies for Base Building Reliability (BBR) for multiple business units and operation centers. The person in this role will coordinate and partner with leaders and teams globally across Amazon and lead and interact with our most important professional suppliers to satisfy organizational requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop and deliver long‑term sourcing strategies and lead key initiatives with cross‑functional teams.
  • Drive the decision‑making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership.
  • Build relationships and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier performance management, including improving sustainability and social responsibility.
  • Drive alignment and establish success criteria for common or shared goals around savings and sustainability.
  • Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with local teams to deploy and manage the implementation of defined strategies.
  • Manage travel up to 10% as needed.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
