Job description

Security & Maintenance

• Support Security and Maintenance Management through managing the team’s records and operational requirements.
• Support the Security & Maintenance Team to perform the required day-to-day work to a high standard at SZC as well as remote air navigation facilities.
• Provide expertise related to the functions and activities of the CNS Department to deliver an effective and responsive service to ATM operations and provide technical support to subordinates regarding the diagnoses and rectification of faults in all MEP systems.
• Manage the planning and installation projects while ensuring proper planning and scheduling of the activities in timely completion

Systems & Services Provision

• Prioritizing tasks and projects related to preventive maintenance and issue resolution to ensure continuity of services.
• Participate in the process of vendor evaluations and selection for equipment related to projects.
• Maintain a database of all the documents and ensure all project documentation is approved and projects are executed as per set timelines and project costs and all documentation related to system outage rectification and maintenance is recorded and documented as per guidelines for any use or reference.
• Ensure all systems and facilities are maintained most appropriately and reliably based on best practices

Interface with External Agencies

• Maintain effective communication and coordinate with external agencies such as service providers, cleaning contractors, maintenance companies, and Government bodies, concerning the provision of MEP and security Services in line with ANSP/GCAA requirements and manage the objectives in a quality and cost-effective manner and coordinate with external agencies such as third-party contractors, hardware, and software providers. Interact regularly with ADDC, SEWA, DEWA, FEWA, and Municipalities in different Emirates.

Preventive/Proactive Maintenance

• Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled servicing on all MEP systems as per manufacturers’ recommended procedures
• Plan, organize, and coordinate the functions and activities of the CNS MEP Department by correct scheduling and documentation to meet the requirements for delivery of an effective and responsive service.

Technology and System Upgrades

• Plan, manage, upgrade, and maintain the CNS-related MEP infrastructure and equipment ensuring system continuity and reliability.
• Ensure necessary permissions to ensure all system upgrades are approved by relevant stakeholders and authorities

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years experience in possessing or as defined in the grading matrix
• Adequate technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, drainage, medium voltage switchgear and transformers, low voltage standby generators, automatic transfer switches, distribution and switchgear, UPS, Automation: PLC controlling the Power Shedding ensuring continuity of power supply in the event of ADDC failure.
