Job Description
  • Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP), work closely with Sr. Project Engineer / Construction Manager / Project Manager and understand the scope of work. Prepare site plan and work with Site Planner to identify the crew, material and resources to execute the job.
  • Ability to read the drawings and prepare method statements and necessary pre-requisites.
  • Prepare BOQ/MTO, ability to perform load calculations for foundations, columns, structures, stanchions and knowledge of electrical and instrument trenches.
  • Prepare all related Material Submittals/ Method of statements/ review all shop drawings whenever required.
  • Coordinate with HSE team for ensuring all works is being implemented as per the approved risk assessment and HSE plan.
  • Ensure all activities are being implemented at site as per approved MSRA.
  • Ensure all WIRs are being submitted on time with no delays.
  • Coordinate with QC/QS team for reviewing all the monthly payments and ensure all the works done has been reflected on the payment with its approved supporting documents.
  • Ensuring that all assigned work is completed on time and within the agreed budget and schedule.
  • Attending meetings and completely communicate with Clients, End-Users, Consultant and Subcontractors (as applicable).
  • Setting out and executing projects in accordance with drawings & specifications. Coordinate and update as-built drawings and submit to end users and clients.
  • Assist in procurements for analysing quotations and prepare comparison sheets for technical, prices and schedule against budget & project specification and obtain approval from Procurement Manager. Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.
  • Maintenance of daily, weekly & monthly progress reports.
  • Comply with safety/environment systems/procedures.
  • Liaising with client representatives, other professionals within design teams and main contractor’s representatives during construction.
  • Coordinates with all projects related personnel (onshore and offshore) on day-to-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Required; Master's Degree Preferred.
  • Approved by ADNOC as Site Civil Engineer is preferred.
  • Approved Abu Dhabi Municipality, SOE (Society of Engineers Member)
  • Training of WMS (Work Management System) From ADNOC
  • Proficient in Auto-CAD Preferrable.
  • Responsible for the implementation of construction work processes, project procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
  • Knowledge of electrical and instrument trenches.
