About the Role

Amazon UAE is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, driven, and creative candidate to join as a Senior Vendor Manager for our Beverages category.
This is a uniquely complex and high-impact role that spans the full spectrum of the beverages business. You'll manage everything from mass-market water (navigating ultra-low ASP economics and vendor flex models) to premium coffee (requiring sophisticated pricing strategies and margin management) to juices (demanding curated global selection to delight customers). This breadth requires exceptional versatility, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance volume-driven and margin-focused approaches simultaneously.
This role requires managing and owning the Grocery P&L for beverages categories across Core, ANOW, and Rush channels within the 325 GL. You will be accountable for driving profitability across diverse product segments—transforming low ASP categories into profitable engines through innovative vendor partnerships, while scaling premium segments through world-class selection and customer experience.
Within this role, you will:

  • Navigate complexity at scale: Balance the economics of high-volume, low-margin water with premium, high-margin coffee and specialty beverages
  • Build strategic vendor partnerships: Develop long‑term relationships that unlock profitability in challenging low ASP segments while securing exclusive premium brands
  • Drive global selection: Source the world's best juice and beverage brands to create a compelling, differentiated customer offering
  • Own end‑to‑end P&L: Manage profitability across multiple channels (Core, ANOW, Rush) with different cost structures and customer expectations
  • Innovate relentlessly: Identify and implement creative solutions to improve margins, selection, and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
  • Analytical horsepower and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities to navigate complex, multi‑segment P&L management
  • Excellent business judgment and strategic thinking to balance competing priorities across diverse product portfolios
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills to build win‑win partnerships that drive profitability
  • Deep curiosity to uncover how things work and drive continuous improvement across the value chain
  • Adaptability and versatility to thrive in a role that demands both volume‑scale thinking and premium brand curation
  • Passion for creating a world‑class shopping experience for our customers
  • Required experience: Business analytics, strategic thinking, negotiations, operations, and P&L management.
  • 5+ years of with Excel experience
  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience driving internal cross‑team collaboration
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams
Why This Role Matters

Success requires mastering the art of profitability in low‑margin, high‑velocity segments while simultaneously building a premium, differentiated selection that customers love.
