• Experience in Carpentry, Masonry, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Refrigeration, or Mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of high-rise building systems and resorts.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician - Engineering to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Attend breakdowns, carry out diagnosis of faults and problems, work closely with Technicians in maintenance, repair, painting, or refurbishments as needed with minimal downtime to fix the issues
• Respond to work orders or room/site inspection and report any damage observed to the team leaders and propose resolution. Highlight problems outside remit and seek guidance and direction to resolve them
• Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales
• Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management. Identify and elevate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
• Respond to all inquiries in a courteous and professional manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensure all work is undertaken and performed to a high-quality standard

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Expertise Knowledge in relevant field (Carpenter, Mason, Electrician, Plumber, Painter, Refrigeration, Mechanical etc.)
• Knowledge of Work Order System

Knowledge of high-rise building systems/resorts etc.
