The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a significant focus on Lakehouse architectures and automated validation processes. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent stakeholder management, and the capacity to work in high-pressure environments. The position is full-time and on-site, with no remote work option.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with data quality frameworks and tools (Soda Core or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with Lakehouse architectures and Medallion design.
• Proficiency in AWS services (S3 Glue Athena) and data validation techniques.
• Able to identify ways to automate their work / repetitive tasks.

Governance & Automation

• Knowledge of data contracts metadata management and lineage tools (OpenMetadata preferred).
• Experience in building automated validation and reconciliation pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and drive adoption.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver aggressive migration targets.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years in data engineering or data quality roles with at least 3 years in data assurance leadership.
• Experience in financial services or banking domain is a strong plus.
