Qualifications

Overview

Wanna join the adventure. As Senior Quality Engineer you’ll lead the development and execution of quality systems and assurance processes across the full lifecycle of our spacecraft from component procurement to launch readiness. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with a strong path toward senior management.

About this Role

• Support implementation and sustain a quality management system (AS9100-based QMS)
• Lead root cause investigations (RCS) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Conduct supplier audits define qualification criteria
• Participate in engineering design reviews (Control Plans PFMEA etc.)
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs across operations
• Mentor junior engineers/inspectors and contribute to team scaling

Must Haves

• 7 years in quality engineering (aerospace or high-reliability hardware)
• Deep understanding of AS9100 or ISO9001 QMS
• Experience with root cause tools (5 Whys Fishbone etc.)
• Familiarity with flight hardware qualification and readiness processes
• Proficiency in Jira PLM (Arena DURO) ERP (NetSuite) MES (ION) systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T

Nice to Have

• Exposure to IPC or NASA workmanship standards
• Experience with customer or agency quality audits
• Leadership experience or mentoring background
