Senior QC Inspector (Pipes & fittings manufacturing)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Preferably NEBOSH/IGC certified.
Minimum Experience
- 3 years industry experience in manufacturing of pipes and fittings and exposure to ISO 9001 systems.
Responsibilities
Inspection
- Incoming raw material inspection per specifications and report all non-conformance per the established QMS procedures.
- In-process inspection at various manufacturing sections per project requirements (ITP), identifying all non-conformance, and generating reports.
- Carry out Fabrication and Welding inspection as per the established WPS/PQR and applicable welding codes; organize third-party NDT in RT and UT and evaluate the reports.
Laboratory Testing
- Perform applicable laboratory tests on PU chemicals, insulation, and raw materials and generate reports.
Calibration of Lab Instruments
- Calibration of the lab equipment and instruments internal calibration and generate reports and maintain records.
Product Delivery Inspection & Loading Control
- Consistently deliver quality product by adhering to set specifications and project requirements.
Product Certifications
- Full fill the requirement of the product certifications by performing the required raw material and product testing as per the certification quality plan and generating reports.
Policies & Procedures
- Follows all relevant Department/Unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Ensuring the organization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline & grievance, redundancy, and employment law.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.
Team Development
- Ensure the effective achievement of the team functional objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal to maximize the subordinate and departmental performance.
