Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a qualified professional to design water and wastewater treatment plants, including sludge treatment facilities and odour control units. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in similar projects, along with a BSc. in Chemical Engineering. Responsibilities include reviewing design submittals and managing junior engineers. This is a full-time position with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in water treatment plant design and related areas.
• Proficiency in running Biowin Model and RO membrane projections.
• Expertise in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment plants, including sludge treatment and odour control.
• Review process and material design submittals.
• Manage junior engineers and participate in tender preparation.

Job description

• Design of water and wastewater treatment plants sludge treatment facilities and odour control units
• Review process design submittals
• Review material submittals related to process
• Participate in tender preparation
• Travel across GCC and middle east (when needed) for meetings site visits inspections etc.
• Manage junior engineers

Qualifications

• BSc. in Chemical Engineering. MSC. in Chemical Engineering is a plus.
• 15 Years of experience in the design of the following:
  • Domestic wastewater treatment plants
  • Industrial wastewater treatment plants
  • Desalination plants
  • Sludge dewatering drying and treatment facilities
  • Odour control units
• Experience in running Biowin Model
• Experience in running RO membrane projections using any of the available software
