Job summary

A leading provider of industrial automation solutions is seeking a senior engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage engineering activities for the Operator Training System (OTS). The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in Simulation & Digitalization and a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Responsibilities include ensuring design quality, managing project timelines, and providing engineering solutions. A Master’s degree is preferable, with a strong emphasis on leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years work experience in the field of Simulation & Digitalization.
• Hands-on experience commissioning OTS in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
• OTS implementation experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS).
• Ensure successful completion of design to meet all review and audit requirements.
• Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines.

Skills

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Good leadership skills

Knowledge of working on DCS platforms

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering

Master’s degree (preferable)
