Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Operations Officer to manage the full trade lifecycle of equities and Sukuk. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in fund operations and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include overseeing NAV calculations, handling investor activities, and maintaining fund accounting systems. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance and effective coordination with service providers.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in fund operations or fund administration.
  • Preferably within a DIFC based financial services firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full trade lifecycle of equities and Sukuk.
  • Oversee NAV calculations with fund administrators.
  • Handle investor activity including subscriptions and redemptions.
  • Process invoices and track fund-related expenses.
  • Assist in preparing fund factsheets and investor reports.
  • Maintain fund accounting systems ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare regulatory filings and notifications.
  • Act as main contact for audits.
  • Serve as liaison with custodians and service providers.
  • Support due diligence and monitoring of service providers.
  • Coordinate KYC/AML documentation requests.

Skills

Role :Senior Operations Officer
Location : Dubai
Role Purpose:
Support ADIB Capital Limited in daily operations of investment funds /discretionary mandates and other financial products covering trade execution investor servicing compliance and coordination with service providers.

Key Accountabilities of the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full trade lifecycle of equities and Sukuk: capture execution settlement and reconciliation across asset classes
  • Oversee NAV calculations with fund administrators
  • Handle investor activity including subscriptions redemptions capital calls and distributions in line with fund documents and regulatory requirements
  • Process and track invoices accruals and fund-related expenses
  • Assist in preparing fund factsheets and investor reports
  • Maintain fund accounting systems and ensure data integrity
  • Prepare DFSA filings and regulatory notifications for funds
  • Act as main contact for audits: prepare schedules respond to auditor queries coordinate with administrators
  • Serve as liaison with custodians administrators and third-party service providers
  • Support due diligence onboarding and monitoring of service providers
  • Coordinate KYC/AML documentation requests with service providers
  • Assist Management and the Team in ad hoc requests

Profile:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good technical understanding of various asset classes

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

4 years of experience in fund operations or fund administration preferably within a DIFC based financial services firm
