The role is also responsible for maintaining governance frameworks within PICG.

The PICG Governance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all PICG policies, practices, and processes align with applicable labour laws, regulatory requirements, audit coordination and internal governance frameworks. This role supports PICG in maintaining compliance, minimising risk, and driving ethical and consistent people practices across the organisation.

1. Governance and Policy Management
  • Implement, and maintain PICG governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Regularly coordinate the review and update of PICG policies to ensure compliance with local labour laws, data protection regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Coordinate periodic PICG audits and risk assessments to evaluate adherence to policies and controls.
2. Compliance, Audit and Regulatory Oversight
  • Monitor and interpret employment legislation, statutory requirements, and PICG regulatory developments.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory filings and labour-related documentation (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity, POSH, equal employment opportunity reporting).
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, legal advisors, and government agencies as required.
  • Coordinate internal audits and compliance findings, ensuring timely closure of PICG-related findings.
3. Risk and Ethics Management
  • Identify PICG compliance risks and support propose mitigation plans.
  • Support drive adherence to ethics, anti-harassment, and data privacy policies.
4. PICG Data and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate PICG records, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality in line with organisational and legal standards.
  • Oversee document retention and recordkeeping compliance.
  • Maintain governance dashboards and reporting for senior leadership.
