The Sr Director Marketing works to drive orthopaedics market products in the Emerging Markets region. The successful candidate will drive market development through product launches, marketing campaigns, development programs and key customer focus. The Sr Director has a key role to play in driving New Product Launches involving the assessment, planning and launch of new products in the geography. The Sr Director Marketing must have a comprehensive understanding of the Orthopaedics portfolio (implants, capital and consumables), market, customer, and business needs, must support markets and coordinate and conceptualize product, customer and program development. In addition, s/he coordinates and communicates with the country head offices, providing, extracting and analysing market insights and data, and ensuring continuous communication and collaboration with markets and Global marketing. The Sr Director Marketing will also be responsible for defining and executing the portfolio and segmentation strategy for Enabling Technologies across Emerging Markets, including projects like Hip/Knee Pre Op planning, local partnerships, driving efficiencies in portfolio lifecycle management and asset utilisation. He/she will be responsible for developing and building an engaged high potential team while also mentoring other marketing stakeholders across the region. The Sr Director Marketing is responsible for guiding and overseeing the localisation of global marketing strategies and tactical execution as well as formulation of regional marketing strategies. These activities include regional price corridor settings, selection of market segments and target groups, product portfolio assessment, development and management, as well as training elements. The Regional Marketing Team has a strong focus on commercial excellence and local execution, as a lead for business, the Sr Director Marketing supports and works collaboratively with the countries’ sales and marketing teams, global marketing teams and various internal and external stakeholders and functional teams e.g. Supply Chain, Regulatory, Professional Education, and Healthcare Professionals.
