Overview

Instrument Control Technician roles in the UAE focusing on maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments, with expertise in DCS/PLC systems and safety compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments, supporting troubleshooting and commissioning activities in power generation or oil and gas sectors.
  • Provide advanced technical support for instrumentation systems and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee instrument selection and specification, develop engineering deliverables, and require expertise in control systems and related software.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain field instrumentation for power and desalination plants to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Develop instrumentation design deliverables for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with standards and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and stock control related to instrumentation and automation.
  • Support commissioning activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Perform service and calibration of industrial instruments and provide technical fulfillment coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records for instrumentation systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with control systems, DCS/PLC, and instrumentation in power, desalination, oil, and gas sectors.
