Job summary

A higher education institution in the UAE is seeking a Senior Officer for Talent Management and Employee Relations. This role involves leading performance reviews, designing training programs, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Ideal candidates will have a degree in HR or related field, with 4-6 years of experience in HR, particularly in higher education, and be fluent in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in higher education or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance review process to ensure alignment with institutional goals and support employee growth.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance staff capabilities and career progression.
  • Foster a positive work culture through regular feedback mechanisms and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure fair and lawful resolution of employee issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and update HR policies to reflect best practices and support operational consistency.
  • Oversee visa processes to ensure timely and compliant handling of employee and student documentation.
  • Manage smooth and respectful offboarding procedures, ensuring proper documentation and exit formalities.
  • Issue accurate and timely experience certificates to departing employees as part of the offboarding process.
  • Coordinate security clearance procedures to meet institutional and regulatory requirements.
