The Public Services Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Roads & Highway Lead Engineer to join our Planning & Design Department. In this senior-level role, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of complex road and highway infrastructure projects across Ras Al Khaimah. Your leadership will directly support our mission to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation networks across the emirate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and planning of road and highway infrastructure projects in alignment with strategic development goals.
• Oversee and review detailed engineering analyses, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Manage the preparation of design and tender documents, using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autoturn.
• Provide technical leadership across design teams, draftsmen, and engineers.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
• Liaise with stakeholders including RAK Municipality, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
• Evaluate and respond to technical queries, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
• Uphold quality assurance by reviewing all technical deliverables.
• Train and mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of internal training programs.
