Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Product Controller to support the Global Markets Finance team. This role includes production of P&L reports, managing daily reconciliations, and overseeing hedge accounting. Ideal candidates will have a strong accounting background, at least 7 years of experience in the banking sector, and be able to manage team dynamics effectively. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives while working in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant exposure to financial products including FX rates and equities.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in an international Global Markets banking environment.
• Strong understanding of current IFRS and IAS including hedge accounting.

Responsibilities

• Production of daily and periodic reporting and management information for Global Markets.
• Daily P&L reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation.
• Assist in review of hedge effectiveness testing results.
