Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and produce accurate shop drawings.
• Specialize in steel walers, H20 beams, floor props, and shoring frames.
• Analyze structural elements for shear, bending moment, deflection, and load capacity against allowable values as per technical data sheets.
• Prepare technical shop drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and generate a materials list after design completion.
• Review the work of junior designers and CAD operators (draftsmen) efficiently and coordinate with management for all projects in the tech department.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (accredited institution).
• Experience: Minimum 5‑10 years of hands‑on experience in structural formwork design, preferably within the GCC.
• Technical proficiency: Strong command of structural analysis tools (Finite Element Analysis software, STAAD III, TIPO’s or equivalent) and a deep understanding of structural behaviour and load analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with at least 5 years of drafting/design experience.
• Preferable experience with PERI or Doka systems.
