Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a Field Instrument Specialist with 5-15 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating instrumentation material costs, reviewing specifications, preparing documentation, and coordinating engineering efforts. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Instrumentation or a related field and have strong proficiency in instrumentation design and vendor management. This position offers office-based work with potential travel to vendor sites.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in instrumentation engineering.
• Proven proficiency in engineering documentation workflows.
• Knowledge of HSE best practices and post-order material handling.

Responsibilities

• Estimate quantities and costs for instrumentation materials during bidding.
• Review client specifications and define instrumentation design basis.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
• Coordinate subcontractor engineering and 3D modelling activities.
• Support FAT at vendor locations and provide site assistance.
