Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned professional for asset integrity consultancy in the Oil and Gas sector. Candidates should have at least 10 years of engineering experience, strong knowledge of corrosion management, and the ability to conduct comprehensive assessments. This role involves auditing corrosion monitoring systems, proposing improvements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years discipline engineering experience in the Oil and Gas.
  • Experience in corrosion control and monitoring systems.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out asset integrity consultancy work such as engineering calculations and report preparation.
  • Audit existing corrosion monitoring systems and optimize current practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for corrosion control failures and related damage.

Skills

Knowledge of materials behaviours and corrosion analysis
Experience in materials selection for Oil and Gas assets
Use of industry recognized software for corrosion rate analysis
High level of experience in pipeline integrity assessments based on industry standards
Good communication skills in English

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or similar
Master’s degree is an advantage
NACE accreditation
Professional membership with an engineering institute
