About the Role

The Team

The EMEA Energy Transition Consulting Team is a trusted advisor of leading companies in the traditional and new energy sectors investor and governments. Typical studies range from energy transition strategy assistance transaction due diligence emissions reduction roadmapdevelopment supply chain assessments and ESG/Energy policy advise.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of consultants and experts with wide ranging backgrounds in energy and the energy transition. The varied and changing nature of our projects leads to development of a diverse set of skills and exposure to different industries and clients including senior industry leaders and policy makers.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Identify internal and external information sources gather and synthesize data
  • Efficiently analyze large quantities of data to produce insights using data analytics tools or programming languages
  • Build and run analytical models as required for consulting projects (e.g. Excel Python others)
  • Work on a project team with other consultants under the direction of the project manager
  • Participate in client or industry interviews and extract key takeaways
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute by presenting aspects of the analysis
  • Develop client-ready deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Word and present findings concisely back to the team
What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
  • Three to six years of experience in industry consulting or finance environments in areas related to commercial analysis financial modeling research and benchmarking M&A. Experience in the energy space including energy value chain emissions estimates and management and environmental management is important.
  • Experience in management consulting will be a significant plus especially experience building client ready ppt excel and word documents and a strong quantitative background and analytical frame of mind and prepared to use data to back up opinions.
  • Minimum qualifications are engineering preferably in chemical environmental or process engineering. A postgraduate degree is a plus (including in finance economics or business).
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills in English (strong language skills in Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work well in a team oriented environment providing ideas and open feedback.
