Job Title: Senior Specialist Communications

Location: Abu Dhabi

Contract Type: 12-month secondment

Reporting To: Manager - Marketing

Purpose of the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Specialist Communications to manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging, stakeholder alignment, and brand reputation. This role will be responsible for leadership communications, PR, media relations, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate must be bilingual English & Arabic, and have a proactive approach to communications with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communications strategy for internal and external audiences.
  • Draft press releases, speeches, and leadership messaging.
  • Manage media relations, PR campaigns, and crisis communications.
  • Oversee intranet content and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support brand reputation and communications consistency across teams.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications and alignment.
  • Advise leadership on communications best practices.
  • Monitor and report on communications effectiveness.
  • Achieve set objectives, ensuring personal growth and learning development needs are met.
  • Hold team members accountable for ensuring marketing deliverables are best-in-class, aligned to the agreed objectives, budgets and timeframes.
  • Proactively build knowledge and be alert to opportunities, while being mindful of the resource available to deliver materials and current priorities for the team.
  • Build productive relationships with the internal customers, researching briefs for stories and being alert to potential marketing opportunities.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • Build a strong knowledge of the Group’s offerings and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
