Job summary

A manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a minimum of 12 years of experience in CNC machining, specifically within the UAE/GCC region. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring high-quality output. A qualification in ITI (Machinist/Fitter) is necessary, along with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and G-codes. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on quality and precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of CNC Machining experience in an established tool room in UAE/GCC region.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and products to ensure there are no visual defects.
• Setup the job using the CNC machine in compliance with specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance daily to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Train and guide the helpers in operating the machine as per SOP.

Skills

Fair understanding of Gcodes

Ability to read Engineering drawing

Knowledge on Machinability of different metals

Knowledge of Quality systems and procedures

Conversant with cutting tools & parameters

Precision measuring instruments & gauges

General maintenance of machines
