Job summary

A leading procurement firm in Dubai is seeking a procurement professional to manage day-to-day purchasing transactions. Responsibilities include building buying plans, negotiating with suppliers, placing orders via SAP, and ensuring delivery compliance. Ideal candidates should have experience in procurement and strong negotiation skills. This role offers an opportunity to support new product development and work closely with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build a buying plan for the assigned PRs/material group.
  • Monitor PR to PO process and identify development opportunities.
  • Handle day to day procurement transactions for assigned PRs/material group.
  • Contact suppliers for technical and commercial quotations.
  • Validate, analyze, and negotiate commercial quotations.
  • Monitor delivery compliance and circulate related reports.
  • Obtain required approvals before commitment to supplier.
  • Place official purchase orders via SAP.
  • Maintain material and vendor master records.
  • Support new product development based on manager's guidance.
  • Conduct business meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Develop and prepare business reports.
Job description
Tactical
  • Build a buying plan for the assigned PRs/material group considering customer need, product trends and historic records.
  • Monitor PR to PO process and identify development opportunities
Operational (Core)
  • Handle day to day procurement transactions for assigned PRs/material group.
  • Contact supplier/s and/or service provider/s to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
  • Validate, analyze, and negotiate commercial quotations.
  • Monitor delivery compliance and circulate related reports to concerned stakeholders.
  • Obtain the required approval prior placing commitment to supplier.
  • Place official purchase order via SAP.
  • Maintain material and vendor master records.
  • Support new product development – participate in new project based on purchasing manager guidance.
  • Conduct business meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Develop and prepare business reports.
