Job Summary

• Role: Airport Operations Systems Lead responsible for end-to-end management of airport technology systems.
• Primary Focus: Implementation, integration and operational management of mission‑critical airport systems across terminal, airfield and baggage domains.
• Strategic Planning: Lead system design and deployment to support terminal operations (check‑in / boarding gates), airfield management (AODB resource management / surveillance) and baggage handling (BHS/BRS).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external consultants and solution providers to ensure timely, high‑quality system delivery aligned with airport goals.
• Operations Oversight: Ensure 24/7 system reliability; develop SOPs, incident response protocols and business continuity strategies.
• Technology Leadership: Drive AI, machine learning and predictive analytics initiatives to optimize decision‑making for passenger flows and resource allocation.
• Digital Transformation: Introduce automation, cloud‑based solutions and intelligent systems; ensure system interoperability and cybersecurity compliance.
• Project Management: Oversee documentation, testing, training coordination and manage vendor relationships.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead lifecycle upgrades, migrations, ORAT and digital commissioning practices.
• Qualifications Required: Bachelors (preferably Masters) in Engineering, IT or Aviation Management; 7‑10 years experience (5‑7 relevant) in aviation technology leadership; expertise in airport systems (terminal, airfield, baggage); experience with AI/ML solutions.
• Skills: Strong project and vendor management, cross‑functional leadership, analytical problem‑solving, familiarity with aviation standards (IATA, ICAO, ACI), proficiency in English (Arabic a plus).
