About this Position We are looking for a technically strong Sales Manager to lead our protective coatings business across the GCC region. This role requires deep familiarity with corrosion protection systems, coating specifications, surface preparation standards, and multi-stakeholder industrial project cycles. The successful candidate will drive regional sales strategy, secure key project approvals, manage channel partners, and ensure our technologies are specified and adopted across oil & gas, marine, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Drive product specification and approval with EPC contractors, asset owners, engineering consultants, and applicators.
- Present technical solutions, performance data, and coating system recommendations aligned with project requirements.
- Support the qualification of new products, prepare technical submittals, and participate in pre-qualification and vendor approval processes.
- Develop and execute the GCC regional strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of large-scale projects across oil & gas, marine, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
- Monitor competitive product offerings, pricing strategies, and technical positioning.
- Evaluate, appoint, and manage distributors, applicators, and channel partners in key GCC markets.
- Ensure partners maintain the required technical and commercial competence to represent the brand effectively.
- Maintain relationships with procurement, engineering, integrity, and maintenance teams within major industrial customers.
- Ensure alignment between customers’ technical requirements and company product offerings.
Support troubleshooting and technical clarifications during project execution.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or Coatings/Corrosion Technology preferred)
- Professional certifications (NACE/AMPP Level 1–3, SSPC, FROSIO) are a strong advantage.
- Additional technical training in corrosion protection, coating inspection, or asset integrity will be considered an asset.
- 7 - 10 years of B2B sales experience in protective coatings, industrial coatings, corrosion solutions, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of coating systems (epoxies, polyurethanes, field joint coating, mainline line coating, fireproofing, etc.).
- Proven experience influencing specifications and managing complex project-driven sales cycles.
- Hands‑on experience with standards such as ISO 8501/8502/12944, SSPC/NACE, ASTM, etc.
- Existing relationships with EPCs, consultants, applicators, and end users in the GCC.
- Excellent technical presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and project‑tracking tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently across GCC countries.
