Job Title: Sales Manager- Commercial Cards (UAE & GCC)
Term: 12 months
Location: Dubai
Reports to: Head of Commercial Cards
Relevant experience
- 10-12 years in commercial card sales
- BSB payments, or corporate banking
Mandatory requirements
- Strong understanding of travel industry dynamics, supplier payments, and virtual card solutions
- Established network of corporate decision-makers and TMC relationships in UAE/GCC
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Fluency in English, Arabic is an advantage
Purpose of the Project
Drive the launch and growth of a leading global B2B travel issuer’s commercial card products in the UAE and GCC markets. This role will focus on acquiring large and mid-market corporate clients, building strategic partnerships, and delivering revenue growth aligned with the company’s expansion objectives
Key Activities
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Market Development
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for commercial card products in UAE and GCC.
- Identify and prioritize target segments (Travel, MICE, Education, Healthcare, Digital Services).
Sales & Business Development
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of corporate clients and TMCs.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
- Drive adoption of card-based B2B payment solutions for supplier and T&E flows.
Client Engagement & Enablement
- Partner with internal teams for seamless onboarding and activation.
- Conduct client workshops and training sessions to accelerate usage and GDV growth.
Performance & Reporting
- Achieve KPIs on pipeline value, conversion rate, and revenue targets.
- Provide regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
KPIs
- New client acquisition and GDV growth within first 12 months.
- Revenue contribution from targeted verticals (Travel, MICE, Digital Services).
- Client satisfaction and retention metrics.
Knowledge and Experience
- 10-12 years of proven experience in commercial card sales, corporate banking, or B2B payments in the GCC region.
- Strong understanding of travel industry dynamics, supplier payments, and virtual card solutions.
- Established network of corporate decision-makers and TMC relationships in UAE/GCC.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience launching new products in regulated markets.
- Knowledge of interchange economics, pricing models, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
