Salary and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex systems within their area of expertise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Innovate maintenance solutions that accommodate the unique constraints of island operations, such as limited storage and resource availability.
  • Act as a technical leader, offering support and sharing hands‑on expertise with service delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure maintenance strategies are aligned with High's operational excellence and service standards.
  • Apply creative thinking to develop and implement effective solutions for maintenance challenges, especially when conventional resources or parts are not immediately available.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by introducing best practices and new technologies that enhance operational efficiency.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Innovation and Adaptability:
  • Exhibit a strong capacity for innovation, particularly in overcoming logistical challenges related to the remote location of High.
  • Lead by example in adaptability, demonstrating the ability to deliver solutions in a fast‑paced and evolving luxury environment.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering, with at least 5 of those years in roles that required innovative problem‑solving in a remote and luxurious setting.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the relevant technical domain, whether it be BMS, CCTV, Mechanical, Electrical, Fabric, or Decorating systems, particularly as they apply to high‑end facilities.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution in high‑pressure environments with a hands‑on, innovative approach to facilities engineering challenges.
  • Extensive experience in luxury, remote, or island resort environments, demonstrating a proven ability to adapt to and manage the complexities of such settings.
  • A track record of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, service partners, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of engineering services.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience in training and team development.
  • Fluency in English and Russian, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional language abilities would be a plus.
