Rigging Superintendent
- Full knowledge, understanding and endorsement of all Lamprell HSES policies, procedures, rules, regulations and certification requirements.
- Ensure availability of all subordinates for required Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) training.
- Assist and implement, risk assessments, job safety analysis and safe methods of working.
- Assist in major HSES related incident investigation and reporting.
- Assist in the maintenance and audit schedule of the HSES and Quality certification process.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the rigging department is in accordance with the LGMS and project priorities.
- Complete lifting risk assessment and lifting plans as per the LGMS procedures.
- Ensure all riggers and operators have the necessary licenses and training required.
- Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories are certified and record are updated in the PMS system.
- Liaise with the Engineering Department with reference to Lifting studies.
- Supervise and dedicate the necessary rigging resources (men and equipment) to ongoing projects.
- Liaise with all project / construction superintendents, planners and engineers to property schedule and execute all rigging activities.
- Review rigging personnel’s daily timesheets for correctness and accuracy of booking.
- Liaise with the maintenance department for equipment related maintenance issues.
- Carry out any other duties as instructed by the yard manager or operations manager as deemed necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
Requirement
At least 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas construction industry, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position.
Excellent communication skills (oral + written) in the English Language
