Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale IT platform roll-outs with a focus on aligning with strategic goals and timelines. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in project management, particularly with multimillion-dollar projects, and a strong preference for those familiar with car/cab booking systems. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus. This is a 12-month contract role based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or PMO.
• Strong IT platform roll-out experience with projects costing over 5M USD.
• Experience with car/cab booking systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale IT platform roll-outs.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including remote software development teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
• Coordinate with business units and technical teams for seamless integration.
• Monitor project budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively.

• Manage cross-functional teams including remote software development teams to drive project delivery and performance
• Develop and maintain project plans risk registers and status reports for stakeholders at all levels
• Coordinate with business units vendors and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new platforms
• Monitor project budgets milestones and deliverables to ensure adherence to scope and financial targets
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams with a focus on transparency and accountability
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and outcomes

Requirements

• 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or PMO
• Strong IT platform roll-out experience with 5M USD projects costs
• Experience with car/cab booking systems is highly preferred
• Ability to work with remote software development teams
• Based in Dubai and available for a 12-month contract
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
