About the business area

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service.

In this role, your key responsibilities include
  • Execute banking transactions and respond to customer inquiries to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
  • Identify new sales leads and relationship development opportunities with cross sell, upsell and retention in order to contribute to the improvement of market and customer share of wallet with the Bank.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure risk mitigation and operational integrity.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues or escalate to relevant teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on customer interactions and transactions to support performance tracking.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking or customer service role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Excellent interpersonal, communication and multitasking Time Management Knowledge of global financial markets and trends
