Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Al Ain is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Theatre. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centric nursing care, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legislation. Responsibilities include collaborating with professionals to deliver quality care, maintaining patient safety, and mentoring nursing staff. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Nursing, valid BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are essential.
  • At least two years of nursing experience in own country is required.
  • Three years of recent experience in a hospital setting is desired.
  • UAE experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying and managing risks.
  • Create a conducive environment for positive patient experiences.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach learners and nursing employees.

Skills

Main Purpose of Job

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key Responsibility Areas
  • Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
  • Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
Required Education
  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid BLS and ACLS
Required Experience
  • Essential: At least two years in own country
  • Desired: 3 years recent/current experience in a hospital setting
  • Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial
