Job summary

A leading FMCG company is seeking a Country Manager based in Dubai. This role will manage and grow the business across Oman and Bahrain, leading Joint Business Planning and driving annual sales growth. Ideal candidates will have a university degree, at least 7 years of sales experience in FMCG, and a strong understanding of distributor-led business models. The position offers a competitive salary of AED 30,000 plus benefits and bonus.

An FMCG organisation that operates through indirect distributor models and is focused on driving sustainable growth, market share expansion and best-in-class go-to-market execution across multiple channels is looking for a Country Manager.

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 30,000 plus benefits and bonus

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for managing and growing the business across Oman and Bahrain, overseeing all channels including modern trade, traditional retail, convenience and eCommerce. The position operates within a distributor-led model and plays a critical role in commercial planning, execution excellence and distributor capability building.

  • Deliver annual sales targets, net sales and gross margin objectives
  • Lead robust Joint Business Planning with distributors, aligned to annual commercial targets
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop action plans to drive sustainable volume and share growth
  • Negotiate trade terms, commercial agreements and activation plans with distributorsli>Act as category expert, partnering with regional teams to build compelling category and channel strategies
  • Recommend and execute effective launch models for NPDs within an indirect sales structure
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of local trade landscapes to drive incremental value for the business, distributors and customers
  • Drive high-quality execution of agreed plans through distributors
  • Build strong, collaborative distributor partnerships and influence key customer negotiations
  • Train and coach distributor sales teams on Perfect Store and execution standards
  • Own distributor performance management and ensure contractual obligations are fully met
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience within a leading FMCG environment
  • Proven experience working within matrix and cross-functional organisations
  • Strong background in P&L ownership and distributor-led business models
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
