Job description

Your passion and energy will be infectious as you welcome our guests and support them through their check-in and check-out procedures. Your natural, down-to-earth manner will enable you to manage guest expectations in a fast-paced and busy environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure no step in the procedures is missed. Managing payments will become second nature to you, and you will have excellent data entry skills to support accurate reporting.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Greet and welcome guests, visitors, and suppliers, answer telephone calls, and provide a warm, timely welcome in line with our brand standards.
  • Answer guest-related queries and provide information on promotions, room prices, activities, and local events to ensure guests receive accurate information.
  • Ensure payments are processed according to cash handling procedures and handle reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify corporate leads and build long-term relationships.
  • Drive online mentions and promote customer feedback.
  • Understand online guest feedback and explore options for improvement.
  • Carry out general office duties, including correspondence, emails, and filing, to ensure the smooth operation of the reception area. Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies and reception stationeries.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure the safety of all guests in line with safety procedures and guidelines.

You must have / be:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Hotel Receptionist in the Front Office department of a hotel.
  • Knowledge of Opera (PMS)
  • Arabic language skills in speaking, writing, and reading.
