Job summary

A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee industrial building projects, primarily those involving steel structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for project execution, quality control, and budget management, ensuring all projects meet their targets within deadlines. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering, at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in project management software. This role is based in Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on industrial buildings.
• Proven experience with steel structures (fabrication, erection, coordination).
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of contractual terms, project controls, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of industrial building projects, including steel structures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review project designs, contract documents, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, and commercial issues.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and construction-related challenges on site.
• Ensure adherence to authority regulations.
• Drive project handover and close-out activities.
