Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor in Dubai to manage project costs and provide commercial advice. The role involves preparing and reviewing BOQs and budgets, negotiating contracts, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, with 3-5 years of UAE experience and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and PlanSwift. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and POMI.
  • Proficient in contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets.
  • Manage contracts, variations, and claims.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with budgets.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs using AutoCAD and PlanSwift.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Prepare progress claims, reports, and final accounts.
  • Mentor and guide junior QS staff.
