Job summary

A manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Quality Manager to develop and maintain their Quality Management System in line with ISO standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in quality management within the plasterboard industry, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in quality management within plasterboard, gypsum, or building materials.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and lab testing.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the factory’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards.
  • Monitor and control quality across all production stages of plasterboard manufacturing.
  • Lead quality inspections, material testing, and final product approvals.
  • Identify defects, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Train and supervise QA/QC staff to ensure consistent quality performance.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building material standards.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, audits, and improvement plans.
  • Manage customer complaints and provide technical support for quality-related matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality management within a plasterboard, gypsum, or building materials factory.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Hands‑on experience with manufacturing processes, lab testing, and production lines.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and team‑coordination abilities.
