Job summary

A leading defense contractor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Quality Inspector to conduct quality control inspections of military vehicles and components. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree and have experience in quality control, with a focus on military applications. Responsibilities include verifying maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and interacting with various stakeholders to resolve quality issues. A valid UAE driver’s license is required, and proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience with military vehicles or in failure analysis.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20kg when applying.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections of military vehicles and components.
• Verify all maintenance tasks are completed as per the job plan.
• Interact with mechanics and customers to resolve quality issues.

Skills

Ability to read technical manuals

Knowledge of measuring instruments

Ability to verify product accuracy

Experience with Microsoft Office
