Job summary

A global testing and inspection company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for executing inspections on materials and construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, over 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas construction sector, and certifications such as CSWIP/AWS & BGAS/NACE. This full-time position is critical to ensuring the integrity of inspection processes, and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Must have CSWIP/AWS & BGAS/NACE certifications.
• Familiar with engineering standards for QC surveillance activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute inspections on materials, equipment, and construction activities on site.
• Issue quality records and non-conformance reports.
• Ensure the implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.

Quality Control Inspector - Multi ( Coating / Welding & Painting )

Responsibilities

• Executethe specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issuethe relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writeand sendto QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Check power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Remote terminal unit, instruments, cables, tunings etc.
• Performvisual inspections, dimensional test, checkrating and material for connection.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 + years of relevant experiencein Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Must Have CSWIP / AWS & BGAS / NACE
• Familiar with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities offshore projects
• Should have experience in Construction / Vendor site inspection
