Job Title - QA/QC Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Control:
  • Develop, implement and monitor project quality plans, procedures and checklists.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, workmanship and construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Site Inspections & Monitoring:
  • Perform routine site inspections and document findings.
  • Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with site teams to maintain quality standards across all disciplines.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports and test records.
  • Review material submittals, method statements and inspection requests.
  • Maintain records for audits and project handover.
• Coordination & Compliance:
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teams on quality-related matters.
  • Support internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Handover & Close-Out:
  • Assist in final inspections and snag list closures.
  • Ensure quality documentation is complete for project handover.
  • Support project close-out and final acceptance processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 37 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes and standards.
• Experience in residential, commercial or infrastructure projects preferred.
