Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for a skilled QA/QC Engineer specializing in rotating equipment in Ras al-Khaimah. The candidate will oversee quality assurance and control during shutdowns, ensuring compliance with SABIC standards and international quality requirements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5-8 years of relevant experience, especially in petrochemical or oil & gas sectors. Strong expertise in inspection protocols and documentation is required, along with preferred SABIC certifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of QA/QC experience in rotating equipment within petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
  • Prior shutdown/turnaround experience with SABIC or similar clients is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement QA/QC procedures specifically for rotating equipment during shutdown activities.
  • Conduct inspection of rotating machinery, including pumps and compressors.
  • Monitor maintenance and reassembly processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verify clearances, tolerances, and measurements during reassembly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and vendor representatives for inspection readiness.
