As a Public Area Housekeeping Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas in the hotel including lobbies restrooms corridors elevators and other guest-facing spaces. The role ensures that all areas reflect the hotels standards of cleanliness presentation and guest comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned public areas including lobbies restrooms corridors elevators staircases and other common spaces.
  • Dust vacuum mop and polish floors furniture fixtures and fittings.
  • Replenish supplies such as tissue hand towels soap and air fresheners in public restrooms.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly and efficiently.
  • Report maintenance issues safety hazards and damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
  • Respond courteously to guest requests and report any guest feedback or complaints to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely and properly.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
  • Support the housekeeping team in setting up for special events or deep cleaning projects when required.
  • Follow all hotel policies procedures and hygiene standards including health and safety regulations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness professionalism and service at all times.
Qualifications :
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience an advantage).
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals equipment and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
