To lead and manage the execution of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works for assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and oversee the full MEP scope of work from mobilization through to commissioning and handover.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual documents to define scope, schedule, and resources.
- Develop detailed project schedules in coordination with planning teams and ensure timely execution.
Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets.
- Manage procurement of MEP materials and subcontractors in coordination with procurement and commercial teams.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all MEP activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, relevant standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, etc.), and quality assurance procedures.
- Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning activities with QA/QC and third-party agencies.
- Address technical issues and ensure timely resolution of site conflicts.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site reviews and safety audits in coordination with the HSE department.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead project teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and task completion.
- Act as the key liaison with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Conduct progress meetings, submit project reports, and handle client correspondence.
Project Closeout
- Oversee testing & commissioning, as-built documentation, snag list closure, and final handover.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed as per contract and client satisfaction.
