Job Description
Black & Grey HR is partnering with a top-tier Lighting Solutions Manufacturer to hire an experience Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale lighting projects—including retrofit, new-build, and infrastructure initiatives—ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution while maintaining strict safety standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Convert LOIs / POs into detailed execution plans, Gantt charts, and cash-flow projections.
- Identify and secure necessary resources (manpower, equipment, materials).
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct weekly progress meetings and provide clear status updates and risk assessments.
- Supervise installation teams across multiple sites, enforcing HSE protocols and permit-to-work compliance.
- Address on-site challenges, RFIs, and design conflicts efficiently.
- Initiate material requisitions and collaborate with procurement to secure critical components (drivers, optics, poles, hardware).
- Coordinate with production and logistics to align manufacturing schedules, deliveries, and customs clearance.
- Monitor budgets, variations, and change orders; validate subcontractor invoices and milestone payments.
- Safeguard profitability by identifying scope creep, material overruns, and warranty risks.
- Ensure compliance with ADQCC / IEC standards and project specifications; oversee FAT / SAT, lux testing, and defect resolution.
- Prepare O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation for client approval.
- Establish spare-parts inventory and warranty tracking; analyze performance data to address recurring issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 8+ years of experience managing MEP or lighting projects, including GCC-based multi-site deployments.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and ERP / MRP systems.
- Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations, ADQCC / ESMA standards, and utility permitting.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Valid UAE driver’s license; willingness to travel across Emirates and occasionally to KSA / Oman.
