Job summary

A prominent automotive company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of the Robotaxi project. You will coordinate resources across departments, ensure all project objectives are met, and establish mechanisms for risk and change management. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in autonomous driving projects. This role requires excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in complete vehicle project management, preferably including autonomous driving and Robotaxi projects.
• Familiar with R&D processes of complete vehicle cockpit and autonomous driving.
• Project management certifications such as PMP are preferred.

Job description

• Be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the Robotaxi project, ensuring the project is delivered in accordance with milestone nodes and core objectives of schedule, cost and quality are achieved.
• Formulate the master plan and sub-plans for the Robotaxi project, organize project regular meetings and milestone review meetings, track task progress, output project progress reports, and timely synchronize project status with the management.
• Coordinate cross-departmental resources horizontally including R&D, business, operations and quality teams, connect with external suppliers and partners, resolve cross-domain issues during project advancement, and ensure efficient resource collaboration.
• Establish a project risk and change management mechanism, identify full-dimensional risks such as technical, scheduling and regulatory compliance risks and formulate response measures, assess the impact of changes on the project, and promote change review and implementation.
• Organize periodic review and summary during the project process, accumulate project experience and methodologies, and drive the optimization of project management processes and the improvement of system capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or related majors; 3+ years of experience in complete vehicle project management, familiar with R&D processes of complete vehicle cockpit and autonomous driving; candidates with experience in the full implementation of autonomous driving and Robotaxi projects are preferred.
• Possess excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, risk prediction ability and problem-solving ability, be able to withstand project delivery pressure, and have fluent English reading and writing skills (mandatory). Candidates with project management-related certifications such as PMP are preferred.
